The 2021 Echezeaux Grand Cru is matured with 50% whole bunches in 50% new oak. It has quite a sensual bouquet with slightly melted red fruit, thyme and crushed stone, somehow, "laid back" without leaving you feeling shortchanged. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, nicely integrated oak with a vibrant, sorbet-fresh finish. Excellent.
