The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru has one of the more impressive aromatic profiles from Chanson this year: citrus fruit, apricot blossom and nuances of orange pith all delivered with fine delineation. The palate is well balanced with a tropical tinge on the entry - passion fruit and nectarine, though though do not impede across its mineralité or terroir expression. It requires a little more depth and sustain on the finish, otherwise, this is a very decent Folatières to drink over the next 15 to 20 years. Closure: Diam
