Dark, ripe cherry-colored, the explosive nose opens with notes of toast, spices and cloves. With great sweetness and very ample, the palate reveals powerful and elegant aromas, reminiscent of jammy red fruits.
It is a very great wine with soft tannins and a spicy length.
Decant and serve at 18 ° C with a rack of lamb, grilled meats or Mediterranean dishes.

Based on 100-year-old Carignan, the 2016 Corbieres Boutenac la Forge features smoky, herbal and green peppercorn aromas. It's full-bodied, rich, concentrated and intense, combining a hard, greenish streak with ripe raspberries and blackberries (the remainder of the blend is Syrah). Give it 2-3 years to mellow, and drink it over the next decade.

An open-knit, full-bodied red that boasts concentrated layers of ripe blackberry and currant fruit, matched to baking spice, espresso and licorice notes that yield to elements of mineral, floral and Earl Grey tea on the tannic finish. Carignan and Syrah. Drink now through 2026.
