Dried strawberries with dried flowers and crushed stones on the nose. So enticing and fascinating. Full-bodied with a compact, tight palate of ripe yet cool and fine fruit. Complex finish of dried spice, such as nutmeg, together with fruit and light earth. A beauty already. Better after 2023.

Seductive aromas of rose, blueberry and boysenberry highlight this well-defined, incisive red. It has latent power and builds to a long, expansive, mineral-tinged finish. Fine purity and structure. Best from 2024 through 2043. 180 cases made, 40 cases imported.

The 2018 Corton-Perrières Grand Cru exhibits notes of cherries and raspberries, complemented by hints of sweet spices, dark chocolate and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, with an enveloping core of fruit and fine, chalky tannins, it has turned out nicely.
